In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5(1)(e) of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, Chapter 112, I hereby PROCLAIM that, in respect of the year of assessment commencing on 1 April 1988, and subsequent years of assessment, property tax shall be charged in respect of land or buildings or land and buildings in Area T as defined in the Schedule to the Rating (Areas of Hong Kong) Order*.
