To make special provision to exempt certain persons from the obligation to be contributors under the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Widows and Orphans Pension (Exemption) (Consolidation) Ordinance.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the Widows and Orphans Pension (Application) Regulations (Cap. 94 sub. leg. A), the term “officer” in the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance (Cap. 94) shall not apply and shall be deemed never to have applied to the persons named in the First Schedule.

All contributions made by the persons named in the Second Schedule under the Widows and Orphans Pension Ordinance (Cap. 94) shall be refunded to them.
