Maximum Scale of Election Expenses (Rural Committees) Order 1995

For the purposes of section 13(1) of the Ordinance*, the maximum scale of election expenses which may be incurred by or on behalf of a candidate in respect of the election of a Chairman, Vice-chairman or Executive Committee member of a Rural Committee is prescribed to be $30,000.
| “Ordinance” refers to the repealed Corrupt and Illegal Practices Ordinance (Cap. 288). |
Where a person is a candidate for election for more than one office in a Rural Committee the total maximum scale of election expenses in respect of those offices shall be $30,000.
