, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies.
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5(1)(e) of the Inland Revenue Ordinance, Chapter 112, I hereby PROCLAIM that, in respect of the year of assessment commencing on 1 April 1980, and subsequent years of assessment, property tax shall be charged in respect of land or buildings or land and buildings in Areas D2, E, J4, N4 and N5, P, Q, R, and S of the New Territories, as defined in the Schedule to the Rating (Areas of Hong Kong) Order*.
