1. Interpretation

In this Order—

company (公司) means the APT Satellite Company Limited.

2. Exemption

The company, to the extent that it—

(a)

establishes or maintains a means of telecommunications; and

(b)

uses or possesses apparatus for telecommunications,

on the satellite APSTAR-IA, is exempted from the obligation to hold a licence under section 8(1) of the Ordinance.
