1. Demonetization of currency notes

All one cent currency notes issued by the Financial Secretary under section 4 of the Ordinance or under section 2 of the repealed Subsidiary Currency Notes Ordinance 1941 (21 of 1941) shall cease to be legal tender in Hong Kong with effect from 1 October 1995.
