This Order may be cited as the Carriage of Goods by Sea (Parties to Convention) Order 1985 (Words omitted as spent—E.R. 3 of 2021).

It is hereby certified that the contracting States to the International Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules of Law relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25th August 1924(a), as amended by the Protocol signed at Brussels on 23rd February 1968(b), and the territories in respect of which they are respectively contracting States are as listed in the Schedule to this Order.
